Job Description
As a Senior AI Product Manager at Purposive, your role will involve leading the strategy, development, and execution of AI-powered products and platforms. You will collaborate closely with engineering, data science, business, and leadership teams to create scalable AI solutions that address real-world business challenges and deliver tangible results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute AI product strategy in alignment with the company's vision
- Identify market opportunities for AI-driven solutions
- Develop product roadmaps and long-term AI innovation plans
- Work with leadership to establish product direction and priorities
AI Product Development:
- Lead the end-to-end AI product lifecycle from ideation to launch
- Collaborate with data scientists, AI engineers, and developers
- Translate business requirements into AI product features
- Define use cases, user stories, and product specifications
- Ensure AI models are scalable, reliable, and production-ready
Market & Customer Understanding:
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis
- Identify enterprise AI use cases across industries
- Understand customer pain points and propose intelligent solutions
- Collaborate closely with sales and customer success teams
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Coordinate with engineering, AI/ML teams, UI/UX, and business teams
- Align stakeholders across product, operations, and leadership
- Collaborate with partners and technology vendors
- Drive product adoption and market positioning
Data & AI Governance:
- Ensure ethical AI practices and responsible AI usage
- Define AI model performance metrics and KPIs
- Monitor product performance and continuously optimize
- Ensure compliance with data security and privacy standards
Required Skills:
- Product Management: Product lifecycle management, Roadmap planning, Agile & Scrum, User story creation, Market & competitor analysis
- AI & Technology: AI/ML concepts, NLP, Computer Vision, Generative AI, LLMs & AI platforms, Data analytics, API-based AI integrations
- Business & Strategy: Analytical & strategic thinking, Enterprise product development, Stakeholder management, Problem-solving, Communication & leadership
- Technical Exposure: Python basics, AI/ML platforms, LLMs & Generative AI, Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Data platforms & APIs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field
- MBA or AI/Product Management certification is a plus
- 3+ years experience in product management
- Experience working with AI/ML or SaaS products
- Experience in startup or enterprise environment preferred
