Role Overview:

You will be leading the growth and strategic development of the Cost Analytics portfolio within the Cost Vertical in Finance Shared Services Centre (GFS). Your focus will be on cost management and efficiency in the Financial Services industry environment by ensuring high-quality service delivery, talent pipeline development, stakeholder engagement, and controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and provide ongoing management direction for all processes and activities related to Cost Analytics, maintaining high-quality service delivery standards.
  • Drive SCB cost and competitive analytics, benchmarking, market intelligence efforts, and develop forward-looking projections. Conduct external benchmarking based on industry trends.
  • Collaborate with Global Process Managers to design and implement Standard Global Processes for Cost Management. Track implementation effectiveness and gaps continuously.
  • Lead the team in developing a strategic roadmap for Cost Center of Excellence (CoE), focusing on capabilities like modelling, efficiency tracking, business partnering, and end-to-end cost view.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders and business CFOs to drive improvements/enhancements within cost management processes.
  • Identify pain areas and provide recommendations for more efficient and effective end-to-end cost management processes, including technology aspects.
  • Implement a culture of continuous process and efficiency improvement across all teams. Identify and implement improvement opportunities constantly to meet annual productivity/cost savings targets.
  • Explore opportunities for migration within the hub and build cases for end-to-end migration from countries. Work closely with business and country CFOs on this initiative.
  • Contribute to the strategic development of the center and drive the GFS collective agenda.
  • Collaborate with HR to enhance talent/skill sets to meet the growing complexity of finance needs. Ensure the right talent is attracted and retained for key roles and actively manage attrition within the unit.
  • Evaluate options for promoting employee engagement forums continuously. Encourage creativity, learning, development, and work-life balance among employees.
  • Contribute to transformational agendas, strategic consensus building, and supporting global initiatives as applicable.
  • Lead change effectively, manage and escalate risks arising from new process transitions.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance. Advanced Degree (Masters) and Professional Accreditation (CPA, CMA) are a plus.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, with MNC experience preferred.
  • Strong financial awareness and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Advanced Power Point and Excel skills. Knowledge of SAP, Apptio, PaPM is an added advantage.
  • Leadership qualities, team-player mindset, self-motivated, and customer-oriented.
