Job Description
As a Senior Manager Finance & Accounting at UNIFY Dots, a global technology and software solutions company, you will be responsible for leading the finance team across multiple legal entities and functions. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the finance team, covering accounting, management reporting, planning, tax, and statutory compliance.
- Managing the full spectrum of financial accounting and reporting.
- Supervising the accounting team, providing day-to-day supervision and financial controls.
- Handling Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Billing, Bank and Credit Card Reconciliation, Financial Reporting, and Statutory and Tax Reporting and Compliance.
- Reviewing corporate books and statutory tax returns to ensure accuracy.
- Ensuring regulatory deadlines are met, including filing of GST/ VAT returns, Corporate Income Tax returns, and other statutory and tax deadlines.
- Reviewing reports for accuracy and providing insightful financial commentary.
- Interacting with auditors, tax advisors, corporate secretary, and compliance authorities.
- Working with external auditors for audit completion.
- Performing other related duties as necessary.
Qualifications required for this role:
- Bachelors degree in accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
- Active Chartered Accountant.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with India taxation and reporting requirements.
- Minimum 10 years of work experience in accounting, finance, or tax field.
- Experience in managing a team of at least 3 people.
- Fluent English language communication skills.
- Familiarity with other statutory requirements, especially Singapore, USA, and Australia, is desirable but not mandatory.
