As the VP of Business Reporting and Analysis at Synchrony, your role is crucial in leading the transformation of S2P Reporting, Analytics, and Data Management to enhance customer experience, streamline processes, and provide valuable insights through scalable dashboards. Your responsibilities will include: - **Strategy, Operating Model & Leadership:** - Define Reporting & Analytics strategy, team goals, and org structure. - Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize demand and execute work. - Shift towards a product mindset for reporting solutions. - Communicate progress and risks to senior leadership. - Develop the team's skills and promote modern analytics practices. - **Reporting, Analytics & Customer Experience:** - Redesign reporting to address customer needs effectively. - Utilize Generative AI, intelligent analytics, and automation for innovation. - Translate business requirements into technical designs and roadmaps. - Deliver reporting for process enhancements and critical areas. - **Data Platform, Data Mart & Governance:** - Manage the S2P Data Mart and ensure data quality from various systems. - Lead governance processes and data stewardship. - Define data quality rules and drive data architecture across sources. - **SAS Viya Platform Strategy:** - Spearhead the strategy and maintenance for SAS Viya platform. - Address adoption challenges and recommend alternative tools. - **Delivery, Technical Oversight & Automation:** - Provide technical direction across the analytics stack. - Develop interactive dashboards and manage report inventory. - Support compliance analytics and ensure resiliency. - **Documentation, Knowledge Transfer & Controls:** - Establish standards for documentation and knowledge transfer. - Implement controls to enhance accuracy and reliability. - Strengthen intake/prioritization and delivery governance. **Required Skills And Knowledge:** - Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience in analytics/reporting/data management. - Proficiency in Coupa, Tableau, SAS Viya, and Oracle database. - Strong leadership in transformation and data management. - Expertise in data marts, ETL architecture, and data governance. **Desired Characteristics:** - Experience with Python, Power BI, and low-code/no-code app development. - Familiarity with Generative AI and intelligent automation. - Previous engagement with consulting partners for transformation. **Eligibility Criteria:** - Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience. - Work Timings: 6:00 AM EST to 3:00 PM EST. You have the opportunity to work remotely or from one of Synchrony's Regional Engagement Hubs in India. Flexibility is a core value at Synchrony, allowing you to manage your work hours effectively.
