Unit Finance Head

Role Overview:

As the Unit Finance Head at Sahyadri Narayana Multispeciality Hospital in Shimoga, you will be responsible for leading the finance function with a strong focus on growth, compliance, and efficiency. Your role will involve driving financial planning, managing costs and pricing, and maintaining cash flow discipline. Additionally, you will ensure accuracy in reporting, payroll processing, and statutory compliance. By utilizing data analytics and AI-based tools, you will enhance financial analysis, reporting, and governance to support audits and facilitate informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the finance function for the unit with a growth and compliance-oriented approach.
• Utilize analytics and AI tools to improve financial analysis and reporting.
• Drive cost and pricing efficiency through budgeting, analysis, and cost control measures.
• Manage cash flow and payments, ensuring timely deposits, vendor payments, and fund transfers.
• Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as PF, PT, TDS, and other dues.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting, including management information systems (MIS), income statements, and trial balances.
• Coordinate audits and maintain robust financial controls and governance practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders from various teams, vendors, and auditors to ensure seamless financial operations.

Qualifications Required:

• Qualified CA/CMA with 8-10 years of experience in Business Finance & Accounting post-qualification.
• Prior experience in the healthcare sector is mandatory.
