Job Description

As an ideal candidate for this position, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field and have over 10 years of relevant work experience. This experience should include technical program management or equivalent management roles in mid- to large-sized Financial Technology firms or Payments technology divisions. You should have at least 5 years of experience running complex software development programs with multiple stakeholders. Additionally, you should have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a People Manager, overseeing a team of 40 to 50 members and actively participating in building and growing the team. Your expertise should span across functional and technical areas, involving the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of large-scale projects within the BFSI Domain. Ideally, you would have started your career in Development and Coding, progressed into Tech Lead roles, and eventually transitioned into Project Management roles within the BFSI domain. You should have a track record of entirely owning product development from inception to implementation, demonstrating your ability to manage stakeholders, negotiate requirements, and understand project timelines, team sizes, and budgets. Furthermore, you must excel in stakeholder management, analyzing requirements versus timelines, and effectively collaborating with architects to determine infrastructure, technology, APIs, front-end dependencies, solutions, and integration strategies. Proficiency in Agile methodologies, Jira, and Cloud platforms is mandatory, with Agile Safe certification being highly valuable. Experience in running agile ceremonies, change or release management, and familiarity with tools like ServiceNow for change management are advantageous. Your technical skills should include working with microservices, API servers, Mobile and Web Application Development, as well as prior exposure to CI/CD software development processes. In terms of business knowledge, you should have expertise in at least one domain such as Credit Cards, Lending, Investment, or Insurance. This knowledge should be recent and reflective of your current experience rather than from earlier stages of your career.
