As a Digital Transformation Program Lead, your main responsibility will be to oversee the end-to-end delivery of digital transformation programs in the oil and gas sector, covering upstream, midstream, and downstream operations. Here are the key responsibilities associated with this role: - Lead the implementation of various technology platforms such as SAP S/4HANA, ServiceNow, Digital Twin solutions, cloud platforms, AI solutions, and enterprise applications. - Define project scope, governance structures, delivery plans, risk frameworks, and resource models to ensure successful project execution. - Act as the primary client interface, facilitating seamless communication between business, IT, and vendor teams. - Manage multi-disciplinary teams across onshore and offshore locations to ensure timely and within-budget project delivery. - Drive PMO governance, RAID management, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to track project progress effectively. - Ensure that the solutions align with industry processes and regulatory frameworks within the Gulf/MENA region. - Coordinate responses to RFPs, develop proposals, and create business cases for potential opportunities. - Collaborate with leadership to expand technology consulting services tailored to the energy sector. - Facilitate adoption, change management, training, and business readiness activities to ensure successful implementation. - Ensure compliance with security, data, and quality standards for digital platforms. Qualifications required for this role include: - 8-12+ years of experience in IT project/program management, preferably in a Big 4 or consulting environment. - Experience in executing at least one technology project in the Oil & Gas sector. - Strong client-facing and stakeholder communication skills with exposure to engaging with C-level executives. - Experience working in the MENA region or with MENA-based clients. - Robust knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid. Valuable qualifications to have: - PMP/SAFe certification - Experience with Digital Twin, SAP implementation, BIM, AI prompting, Cloud platforms, Smartsheet, tool customization/configuration/integration - Familiarity with IT project management, Agile methodology, and Big 4 consulting experience - Proficiency in Arabic for MENA projects.
