Role Overview: As a Full-Stack Developer & GenAI Engineer at Visa in the Finance Technology organization, you will play a crucial role in enabling Visa's revenue growth by developing flexible rule-based pricing engines and global revenue platforms using next-generation technologies. Key Responsibilities: - Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications using various front-end and back-end technologies. - Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including version control, testing, deployment, and release management. - Apply hands-on experience in Generative AI, including LLM model development, fine-tuning, prompt engineering, evaluation workflows, and GenAI ecosystem tools. - Design and implement LLM-powered applications, AI agents, and intelligent automation solutions. - Own the end-to-end lifecycle of AI features, from concept to deployment, monitoring, and iteration. - Integrate AI components and agents with internal/external APIs, business systems, and data sources. - Develop GenAI workflows such as retrieval pipelines, RAG systems, orchestration graphs, and agent-based architectures. - Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices for building AI-enabled applications. - Stay updated with emerging technologies, conduct Proofs of Concept (POCs), and drive solution delivery in an agile environment. - Write and maintain automated test cases to ensure application quality and stability. - Support, optimize, and enhance applications post-deployment. - Build systems with high scalability, resiliency, observability, and strong monitoring practices. - Work independently in complex environments, meeting service levels and delivery commitments consistently. - Foster strong working relationships with team members, business partners, and technology stakeholders through collaboration, communication, and accountability. Qualifications: - Over 5 years of experience in application development with expertise in front-end frameworks and back-end processes, with at least 2 years focused on building AI/ML powered applications. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or another Engineering discipline. - Proficiency in front-end languages like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and React. - Proficient in Web Services/API Development using REST and JSON. - Strong skills in core Java, scripting, Hibernate, Spring Boot, Python. - Knowledgeable in database technologies like MongoDB, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL. - Experience in building and optimizing GenAI workflows, retrieval pipelines, agents, and LLM-based systems. - Proficiency in deploying scalable applications on cloud platforms like AWS/Azure/GCP. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with problem-solving ability. - Proficient with Agile Development Techniques. - Ability to work in a complex organization, understanding business and customer needs to provide optimal solutions. - Strong teamwork focus and collaboration skills across teams. - Passion for learning and applying new technologies with a commitment to delivering working software.
