Sr SQL BI Developer

You have over 8 years of strong experience working with the overall Microsoft SQL Server BI/ DW stack, including SSRS, SSMS, SSIS, and SSAS. In this role, you will be required to work on canned and ad hoc reports using SSRS, as well as perform lots of integration work with SSIS. Your knowledge of data warehouse design, such as dimensional modeling, and data mining will be essential. You should have experience with SSMS, including writing queries, stored procedures, triggers, functions, and building tables. It is crucial that you know how to set up a Universe of tables. You have also learned how to design dimensional model tables using the Kimball methodology and have helped build Data Marts. Your experience with relational database management systems and ETL framework will be valuable. You are comfortable working independently with little supervision and can work effectively in an open team environment. Taking the initiative, being innovative, and having an analytically minded go-getter attitude with an ownership mentality are qualities that will help you succeed in this role. You should have a desire to learn the business continuously, striving to improve efficiency, reduce costs, ensure compliance with regulations, and work cooperatively to provide quality service to clients and internal customers. A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education, training, and work-related experience is required for this position. Occasionally, you will meet with the business to gather requirements and act as a Business Analyst. Strong time management skills are essential, along with the ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines. Exposure to Business Objects (Crystal Reports) for the WEBI self-serve report functionality would be a plus. Additionally, exposure to SSAS and other OLAP tools, MDX, DAX for multi-dimensional reports, is desirable.
