Job Description

As a Communications Manager, your role involves developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies in alignment with the company's goals and values. You will define key messaging, maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and industry bodies. Additionally, you will prepare press releases, media pitches, and responses to media inquiries. Managing media coverage and monitoring industry news relevant to the organization will be a key responsibility. Your responsibilities will also include developing and executing strategies for effective internal communication to engage employees and promote a unified company culture. Creating content for internal newsletters, intranet, and town hall meetings, ensuring transparency, and clear communication about company updates and initiatives will be vital. Collaborating with graphic designers and content creators to develop visually appealing materials and crafting compelling written content for various platforms will also be part of your role. Managing award submissions for the entire group will also fall under your purview. Qualifications and Skills: - Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field. - Proven experience of 7-8 years as a Communications Manager or in a similar communications role. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships. - Proficiency in creating engaging content and adapting messaging for different audiences. - Crisis communication experience and ability to remain composed under pressure. - Familiarity with media relations and working with journalists. - Understanding of digital and social media trends and platforms. - Strong project management and organizational skills. - Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw insights. - Ability to work collaboratively and lead cross-functional teams.
