Software Lead Engineer

As a highly skilled individual with 6+ years of related work experience, you will be responsible for driving a collaborative environment and executing business objectives. Your duties will include: - Building low latency and highly scalable distributed systems following best practices for reliability and maintainability. - Strong hands-on programming experience in modern languages like Java or Python, as well as Big Data frameworks such as Spark or Kafka. - Developing highly reliable, fault-tolerant distributed applications with a focus on performance and scale in the Cloud. - Demonstrated understanding of Agile principles with technical designs, iterative development, and code reviews. - Building high-quality software using industry-proven practices like the 12-factor app, reactive manifesto, and CI/CD. - Creating microservices using the Spring/Spring-boot framework. - Working with Distributed Databases (e.g., Azure CosmosDB, Couchbase, MongoDB) and Relational Databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL). - Implementing Distributed Caching solutions (e.g., Memcached, Redis, Hazelcast) and Messaging solutions (e.g., Azure EventHub, Apache Kafka, Solace). - Building and optimizing production-grade data pipelines for data analysis, modeling, and optimization. - Utilizing Github and Copilot for efficient code management. Additionally, you should have experience taking ideas from inception to life using open-source technologies and deploying software products on public clouds, preferably Microsoft Azure and GCP.
