Job Description
As a Software Implementation Engineer, your role will involve deploying and supporting Healthcare ERP solutions like Hospital Management Systems and EMR/EHR platforms. You will be responsible for configuring software, training users, and ensuring smooth implementation at client sites.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Install, configure, and implement Healthcare ERP software at client locations
- Customize modules based on hospital/clinic requirements
- Conduct system setup including user roles, workflows, and data configuration
- Coordinate with internal development teams for custom requirements
- Understand client workflows (OPD, IPD, billing, pharmacy, lab, etc.)
- Provide on-site or remote training to doctors, nurses, and administrative staff
- Conduct product demonstrations and onboarding sessions
- Act as the primary point of contact during implementation
- Assist in data migration from legacy systems to new ERP
- Perform system testing, UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and troubleshooting
- Ensure software performance meets client expectations
- Provide post-implementation support and resolve client issues
- Monitor system usage and suggest improvements
- Maintain documentation of configurations and processes
- Escalate technical issues to the development/support team
**Required Skills & Qualifications:**
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Strong understanding of software implementation lifecycle
- Basic knowledge of databases (SQL) and system configuration
- Familiarity with Healthcare ERP / HMS / EMR systems is preferred
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and training abilities
**Experience:**
- 13 years of experience in software implementation or technical support
- Experience in healthcare IT or ERP systems is a strong advantage
- Freshers with relevant technical knowledge and willingness to learn may apply
**Key Competencies:**
- Client handling and communication skills
- Attention to detail and documentation
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects
- Willingness to travel for on-site implementation
In this full-time role, you can expect a mix of office and field work, with frequent travel to hospitals/clinics. You may also need to work flexible hours during go-live phases.
