Job Description
As a skilled Node.js developer with fintech project experience, your role will involve building scalable, high-performance backend services and APIs for Loan Management Systems (LMS). You will collaborate with various teams to deliver reliable, secure, and compliant software solutions.
- Design, architect, develop, and maintain scalable Node.js backend services and RESTful/gRPC APIs.
- Lead development of payment processing, transaction workflows, reconciliation, settlement, risk management, and reporting modules.
- Architect and implement secure integrations with various financial services.
- Drive technical architecture decisions and backend best practices.
- Ensure high availability, performance optimization, and scalability.
- Implement security standards, regulatory compliance, and secure coding practices.
- Collaborate with frontend teams and product managers.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers.
- Lead CI/CD implementation and automated testing strategies.
- Implement observability and monitoring systems.
- Participate in incident response and system performance tuning.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Design and maintain microservices architectures and event-driven systems.
Qualifications required for this role include:
- 7+ years of professional software development experience, including 5+ years with Node.js.
- Strong expertise in Node.js runtime, asynchronous programming, and microservices-based systems.
- Experience with databases like PostgreSQL/MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
- Understanding of payment ecosystems and fintech compliance.
- Experience with authentication mechanisms and secure token-based systems.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and services like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.
