Job Description

As a Senior Desktop Engineer at our Andheri office, you will be responsible for:

  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining desktops, laptops, and peripherals
  • Providing L1/L2 technical support to end users
  • Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
  • Installing and configuring Windows OS (Windows 10/11)
  • Managing user accounts in Active Directory and Office 365
  • Providing advanced (L2/L3) troubleshooting for complex hardware, software, and network issues
  • Handling laptop and desktop deployment, migration, and upgrades
  • Performing OS upgrades, patch management, and security hardening
  • Administering Active Directory, Azure AD, and Group Policies
  • Managing endpoint management tools (Intune, SCCM, ManageEngine, etc.)
  • Monitoring endpoint security (antivirus, EDR, DLP solutions)
  • Coordinating with vendors for procurement, warranty management, and escalations
  • Maintaining asset lifecycle management (procurement to disposal)
  • Supporting audit activities and providing required documentation
  • Creating SOPs and process documentation
  • Managing endpoint encryption and data protection policies
  • Coordinating with network, server, cloud, and security teams
  • Ensuring SLA adherence and user satisfaction
  • Managing NAS server (storage) effectively

Required Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD, and Group Policy
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPN, LAN/WAN)
  • Experience with MDM, device compliance, and conditional access policies
  • Familiarity with security tools such as DLP, BitLocker

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT / Computer Science / Electronics or related field
  • Preferred Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator / Endpoint Administrator, ITIL Foundation, CompTIA A+ / Network+, Azure Administrator (AZ-104) Preferred

Experience:

  • 23 years of experience in enterprise desktop support
