Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Develop and implement hospital vision, mission, and long-term strategy

• Establish organizational policies and goals

• Lead executive and departmental management teams

Operations Management

• Oversee daily hospital operations

• Ensure coordination between clinical and non-clinical departments

• Monitor service delivery and patient satisfaction

Financial Management

• Prepare and manage hospital budgets

• Monitor revenue, expenses, and financial performance

• Approve major purchases and capital investments

Regulatory & Legal Compliance

• Ensure compliance with healthcare laws and accreditation standards

• Maintain patient safety and quality assurance programs

• Oversee risk management processes

Human Resource Oversight

• Approve hiring of senior staff

• Support staff development and performance management

• Promote a positive workplace culture

Community & External Relations

• Represent the hospital in public and professional forums

• Build partnerships with healthcare organizations and stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Masters degree in Healthcare Administration, Hospital Management, Public Health, or Business Administration

• 510+ years of healthcare management experience

• Strong leadership and financial management skills

2 Director of Nursing (Nursing Management)

Job Summary

The Director of Nursing (DON) oversees all nursing services within the hospital. They ensure high standards of patient care, manage nursing staff, and develop nursing policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Leadership

• Supervise nursing departments and unit managers

• Ensure quality and safe patient care

• Develop and implement nursing care standards

Staff Management

• Recruit, train, and evaluate nursing staff

• Create duty rosters and manage staffing levels

• Handle disciplinary issues and performance reviews

Policy & Procedure Development

• Develop nursing protocols and guidelines

• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations

• Maintain infection control and safety standards

Quality Assurance

• Monitor patient outcomes and care quality

• Conduct audits and performance evaluations

• Implement improvement plans

Budget & Resource Management

• Manage nursing department budget

• Ensure proper use of medical supplies and equipment

Education & Training

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Nursing

• Valid nursing license

• 5+ years of clinical nursing experience

• Leadership/management experience preferred
