Python Django Developer Module Lead

As a Python Django Developer Module Lead at our company, you will play a crucial role in leading backend architecture design and development using Python and Django. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining scalable REST APIs and backend services, as well as owning module lifecycle delivery. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely releases and continuously monitor and optimize application performance. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead backend architecture design and end-to-end development using Python and Django. - Design, develop, and maintain scalable REST APIs and backend services aligned with performance and security standards. - Own module lifecycle delivery, including requirement analysis, estimation, sprint planning, development, testing coordination, and deployment support. - Conduct structured code reviews, enforce coding standards, and maintain high code quality. - Mentor developers and provide technical direction for best-practice implementation. - Collaborate with Frontend, QA, DevOps, and Product teams to ensure stable and timely releases. - Monitor and optimize application performance, database queries, and scalability. - Participate in CI/CD planning, environment setup, and release governance. - Prepare technical documentation, architecture notes, and sprint status updates. - Identify delivery risks, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities proactively. **Qualifications:** - Strong proficiency in Python, Django, and Django REST Framework (DRF). - Experience in REST API design, microservices architecture, and third-party integrations. - Database expertise in PostgreSQL and/or MySQL with performance tuning knowledge. - Hands-on experience with Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines. - Understanding of authentication, authorization, and security best practices. - Familiarity with Celery / Redis / RabbitMQ or similar background job tools is an advantage. - Exposure to AWS / Azure / GCP cloud platforms is preferred.
