Job Description
As a Playwright Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for automating web applications using Microsoft Playwright. Your focus will be on building reliable and scalable test automation frameworks to ensure high-quality releases in fast-paced Agile environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright
- Automate end-to-end regression and smoke tests for web applications
- Develop and enhance test automation frameworks using Playwright
- Execute tests across multiple browsers (Chromium, Firefox, WebKit)
- Integrate Playwright tests with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.)
- Perform API testing and backend validation
- Analyze test results, log defects, and track issues to closure
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams
- Maintain test data and environment configurations
- Ensure automation best practices, stability, and scalability
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in test automation
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript (preferred)
- Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, DOM, REST APIs)
- Experience with Page Object Model (POM) or similar design patterns
