Mobile Application Penetration Tester

As a Senior Penetration Tester at our company, your role will involve conducting in-depth security assessments of mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms. You will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities, recommending remediation strategies, and collaborating with various teams to develop strategic security initiatives. Your expertise in mobile application security, penetration testing tools, and advanced exploitation techniques will be crucial in ensuring the security and resilience of our mobile applications and systems. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Mobile Application Penetration Testing:** Conduct security assessments of mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms, identifying and remedying vulnerabilities. - **Red Team Activities:** Participate in Red Team exercises to simulate real-world attacks, evaluate security controls, and uncover hidden threats. - **Security Assessments:** Perform penetration testing on applications, networks, mobile platforms, APIs, and critical systems to identify advanced threats and vulnerabilities. - **Custom Exploit Development:** Develop custom exploit code to demonstrate security risks and vulnerabilities to stakeholders. - **Reverse Engineering & Malware Analysis:** Analyze complex threats, malware, and incidents using reverse engineering techniques and provide detailed reports on findings. - **Collaboration with Leadership:** Work with executive leadership to develop and execute strategic security initiatives and roadmaps. - **Security Architecture Guidance:** Provide expert-level guidance on secure coding practices, cryptography, and architecture design principles. - **Tool Development & Automation:** Develop custom penetration testing tools and scripts to enhance testing processes. - **Incident Forensics:** Lead efforts to analyze security incidents, determine root causes, and recommend improvements for prevention. **Qualifications Required:** - Strong experience in mobile application penetration testing for Android and iOS platforms. - Proficiency in penetration testing tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nessus, NMAP, and custom/open-source tools. - Advanced skills in red teaming, black box testing, and exploitation techniques. - Experience in malware analysis, reverse engineering, cryptography, and secure coding practices. - Hands-on experience in developing custom scripts and tools for automation. - Expertise in penetration testing methodologies for network and application-level security assessments. In addition to the above details, the job requires a minimum of 12 years of overall experience in penetration testing, security assessments, and threat analysis, with at least 10 years of specific experience in mobile application penetration testing, network security, cloud environments, and APIs. Experience in Red Team environments is considered a plus. Please note that certifications such as Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), Certified Red Team Professional (CRTP), and eLearn Security Certified Professional Penetration Tester V2.0 are preferred qualifications for this role.
