Jr. Mechanical Engineer

In this role at Remko Engineering, you will be responsible for converting existing designs of grain handling equipment into digital drawings for laser or plasma cutting. Your primary focus will be on creating engineering drawings and fabrication documentation to support the transition from welded structures to bolted assemblies. Your tasks will include the following key responsibilities: - Generate DXF drawings suitable for laser/plasma cutting - Create detailed shop drawings for assembly - Compile accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) - Prepare cut lists for manufacturing The initial project scope will involve working on a grain delivery bin. Although these bins share similar structures, variations exist based on the type of truck they are mounted on. You will collaborate with the client to review existing drawings and reference materials, ensuring the accuracy and quality of the digital files to support fabrication using their in-house plasma cutter.
