As the Head of Brand & Communications at SquadStack, you will play a pivotal role in transforming the SquadStack story from known-by-customers to known-by-the-market. Your responsibilities will include building the brand, running PR, shaping the narrative, and creating the communication engine that propels us from 10 to 100. This leadership position offers real ownership, where you will lead a team of 7+, report directly to the Head of Marketing, and contribute to strategic decisions shaping SquadStack's presence in the market.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • **Brand Strategy & Narrative:**
  • Develop and own the SquadStack brand narrative, defining who we are, our values, and why we excel. Craft compelling stories that resonate with CXOs, investors, analysts, and the broader enterprise AI market.
  • Establish and maintain the brand architecture, verbal identity, and messaging framework, ensuring all external communication aligns with the narrative you create.
  • Position SquadStack as the leading Voice AI platform for consumer sales, distinct from traditional contact center players and generic AI vendors.
  • **PR & External Communications:**
  • Establish and lead the PR engine, cultivating media relationships, pitching stories, managing agency partners, and securing consistent media coverage across business, tech, and trade press.
  • Drive the CEO and founder thought-leadership program, enhancing visibility through LinkedIn content, speaking engagements, op-eds, and industry recognitions.
  • Oversee analyst relations, award submissions, and report placements to enhance SquadStack's presence in the market.
  • **Content, Creative & Storytelling:**
  • Serve as the chief storyteller, translating technical product capabilities into engaging narratives that evoke emotion and resonate with the audience.
  • Define the creative and editorial direction for brand content, including case studies, brand campaigns, social media, and sales materials.
  • Foster a storytelling culture within the marketing team, setting high standards for external content.
  • **Events & Community:**
  • Develop and execute the events strategy, including industry conferences, partner events, and SquadStack-hosted events, to establish SquadStack as a key player in Voice AI conversations.
  • Cultivate a community presence around Voice AI and consumer sales, positioning SquadStack as a thought leader in the space.
  • **Team & Operations:**
  • Lead a team of 5+ across design, content, social, and events, fostering a high-output team culture.
  • Manage the brand and communications budget, track ROI, and report on key brand metrics.

**Qualifications Required:**

  • **Must-Haves:**
  • 6-10 years of experience in brand marketing, communications, or PR, with at least 2 years in a strategic leadership role.
  • Proven track record in building or elevating B2B or enterprise brands, ideally in SaaS, AI, or high-growth startups.
  • Strong storytelling and exceptional writing skills, demonstrated through a portfolio.
  • Experience in managing a founder/CEO thought-leadership program and PR activities.
  • People management experience and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • **Strong Preferences:**
  • Experience in AI, enterprise software, or fintech industries.
  • Familiarity with Indian enterprise selling motions and CXO buyer persona.
  • Creative work portfolio showcasing campaigns, brand narratives, and social virality.
  • Understanding of design principles and ability to guide visual identity.
