As a Data Analyst at Cvent, you will play a crucial role in transforming the meetings and events industry through innovative technology that powers human connection. Your responsibilities will include:
- Using automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources
- Removing corrupted data, fixing coding errors, and related problems
- Developing and maintaining databases, data systems, and reorganizing data in a readable format
- Performing analysis to assess the quality and meaning of data
- Filtering data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to identify and correct code problems
- Utilizing statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets for diagnosis and prediction
- Assigning numerical value to essential business functions for assessing and comparing business performance over time
- Analyzing local, national, and global trends impacting both the organization and the industry
- Preparing reports for management, highlighting trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data
- Creating final analysis reports for stakeholders, outlining data-analysis steps to aid in making informed decisions based on facts and trends
Qualifications required for this role include:
- Strong mathematical skills for data collection, measurement, organization, and analysis
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Visual Basic for application, SQL, and Sigma
- Familiarity with data visualization software like Tableau or Power BI
- Understanding of AI, ability to create agents, knowledge of LLMs and AI models
- Proficiency in creating and applying accurate algorithms to datasets for problem-solving
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis
- Proficiency in queries, report writing, and presentations
- Strong team-working, verbal, and written communication skills
- Proven working experience in data analysis
