Commercial Finance Analyst

As a Commercial Finance Analyst at Omnicom Global Solutions in Hyderabad, your primary responsibility would be to provide client and project commercial support. This includes preparing and maintaining client and project related data, reviewing client rates and pricing structures, supporting the commercial finance team in revenue and margin forecasts, analyzing client and project performance, providing data for commercial discussions, developing fee and cost estimates for projects, and managing revisions to reflect scope changes. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and maintain client and project related data, such as rates, scope, budgets, and change orders. - Review client rates and pricing structures to ensure accuracy and alignment with commercial agreements. - Support the commercial finance team in building and updating revenue and margin forecasts. - Analyze client and project performance and highlight risks/opportunities to the finance team. - Provide data and analysis for commercial discussions on pricing changes, scope changes, and rate card updates. - Develop fee and cost estimates for projects according to contractual requirements. - Manage revisions to cost estimates within client portals to reflect scope changes. In the area of Revenue, Margin & Burn Analysis, your responsibilities would include creating and maintaining burn reports, tracking variances versus budget/forecast, partnering with the finance team for revenue recognition, and providing recurring dashboards and reports highlighting client profitability and project health. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Post Graduate Degree in accounting or finance with 3-5 years of FP&A Operations experience. - Proficiency in Advanced Excel and ability to quickly learn new ERP or BI tools. - Good knowledge of US GAAP. - Flexibility to take up different assignments and work both independently and in a team-oriented environment. - Strong written and oral communication skills. - Experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX, MediaOcean, and Hyperion Financial Management tool is a plus.
