Advanced Application Engineer

As an SST Engineer specialized in Network Platform and Infrastructure, your primary responsibility is to deliver superior customer satisfaction by providing expert technical support to global GTAC Engineers. Your key responsibilities include: - Delivering SST -Lab Reproduction support for Network Platform and Infrastructure area - Proactively managing and responding to GTAC Engineers' questions and issues within agreed Service Level Agreements - Diagnosing and providing appropriate technical support for GTAC Engineers' inquiries - Complying with all SST/GTAC processes for task management, documentation, and communication - Providing periodic updates to GTAC Engineers for effective customer interface - Maintaining accurate and timely case/task notes per GTAC/SST process - Maintaining strong case documentation to create knowledge articles - Identifying productivity ideas, implementing them, and realizing the benefits - Keeping abreast of the latest technical advancements in the HPS product/systems portfolio - Being open to working on rotating shifts to provide remote support - Proactively escalating issues through SST/GTAC Leadership Key Performance Measures: - Responding efficiently and accurately to GTAC Engineers' tasks, meeting or exceeding SST published SLA - Improving productivity in SST processes - Creating knowledge articles for effective knowledge management - Maintaining proactive and informative customer communications - Keeping up with new product developments and completing assigned training on time - Demonstrating technical proficiency, flexibility, independence, and proactive mentoring Qualifications: Education Required: - Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Electronics & Communication or related streams Work Experience Required: YOU MUST HAVE: - Minimum 7 years of experience in industrial networking, Microsoft platform virtualization - CISCO Certified Network Associate or similar level certification - Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate - Experience in systems and network hardening, audit compliance, Microsoft Patch management, and antivirus solutions - Working experience with TCP/IP networks, troubleshooting skills, and experience in installation and maintenance of operating systems - Experience in third party communication using OPC & Modbus protocols WE VALUE: - Experience in Honeywell control system design, implementation, and troubleshooting - Cyber Security product experience - Experience with Cisco/Dell hardware, Cloud data solutions, and Microsoft Active Directory - Configuration of cyber security technologies, controls, and solutions - Technical background in industrial control systems and automation - Experience in Oil and Gas or Chemical industry - VMWare Certified Associate or experience with Virtualization products Behavioural Competencies Required: - Excellent communication skills - Customer-oriented mindset - Ability to work in a diverse team - Analytical thinking and decisive judgment - Drive for results and proactive problem-solving skills Language Requirements: - Fluent in English As an SST Engineer specialized in Network Platform and Infrastructure, your primary responsibility is to deliver superior customer satisfaction by providing expert technical support to global GTAC Engineers.
