Software Engineer (ML/NLP & Python)

The team values a culture of nonstop innovation, an outcome-driven approach to success, and believes that great ideas can come from anyone on the team. **Role Overview:** As a Software Development Engineer specializing in Machine Learning, specifically in Natural Language Processing (NLP), you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting Python-based applications that contribute to fulfilling Gartner's Research & Consulting Delivery strategy. **Key Responsibilities:** - Establish methodologies for quickly rolling out new data analysis capabilities for standalone data-driven products and services using ML and NLP. - Transform unstructured raw data into formats suitable for modeling. - Participate in architecture and technical design discussions to ensure NLP solutions align with strategic objectives. - Continuously improve NLP models through experimentation and optimization techniques. - Document detailed design specifications and review code commits to ensure compliance with established standards and best practices. **Qualifications Required:** - 2-4 years of experience in algorithms, statistics, data processing, machine learning, deep learning, and NLP. - Over 2 years of experience in Machine learning and NLP. - Advanced proficiency in Python programming. - Skilled in data cleaning and exploratory data analysis. - Strong understanding of algorithms, statistics, data mining, machine learning, and natural language processing. - Proficient in NLP, including transformers and generative AI technologies such as OpenAI, LLaMA3, etc. - Proficient in Python libraries such as Pandas and NumPy. - Familiarity with deep learning libraries including SpaCy, NLTK, TensorFlow, and Scikit-Learn. - Experience in deploying model serving APIs. - Experience with relational databases like Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL. - Knowledge of graph databases. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging abilities. **Additional Company Details:** At Gartner, Inc., we guide the leaders who shape the world by providing expert analysis and bold ideas to deliver actionable, objective insight.
