Senior Rating Analyst

Role Overview: You have an exciting opportunity to join as a Senior Rating Analyst in Mumbai, where you will be responsible for credit analysis, financial modeling, and risk assessment. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze companies' financial and business performance, compare with industry peers, and forecast future performance. - Perform thorough credit risk assessments by conducting industry research and financial analysis. - Create high-quality rating reports that explain the rationale behind the ratings. - Present your findings to the Rating Committee and provide well-justified responses to queries. - Manage relationships with important clients and senior management teams. - Ensure adherence to internal and regulatory standards. - Collaborate with internal teams to stay informed about industry and market trends. - Contribute to branding and franchise development initiatives. Qualifications Required: - MBA from a Tier 1 B-School or CA with 2-6 years of experience in credit analysis, risk assessment, underwriting, or financial modeling. - Proficiency in written and verbal communication. - Sound knowledge of financial statements, markets, and financial instruments. - Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. - Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
