Senior Automation Engineer

Role Overview: - Own automation strategy for Transfer Agency services, architect frameworks, and drive innovation in automation processes across multiple products. Key Responsibilities: - Define automation architecture and best practices for Transfer Agency products. - Lead automation planning, execution, and continuous improvement initiatives. - Manage stakeholder communication and provide technical leadership. - Oversee test environment management and regression suite maintenance. - Mentor junior engineers and review automation scripts. - Develop, maintain, and upgrade automated test scripts, utilities, simulators, data sets, and other programmatic test tools required to execute test plans. - Execute functional and regression tests. - Collaborate with the team on automation across various products. - Ability to meet deadlines and work independently. - Perform manual testing as per requirements. - Work with Business Analysts to understand functionality and independently carry out testing during the testing life cycle. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent. This job requires: - 8-10 years of experience in QA automation. - Strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver, Java, CI/CD pipelines. - Proven ability to design modular, reusable automation frameworks. - Ability to drive innovation and mentor large teams. - Understanding of other market standard automation tools like Playwright, UFT, etc. - Experience in Agile methodology and test management tools. - Good understanding of Transfer Agency processes such as investor onboarding, transaction processing, and reporting. - Proficiency in GIT/SVN, Jira, Agile practices, SDLC, defect lifecycle, and testing methodology. - Hands-on experience in Microsoft Excel and Word. - Understanding of AI and implementation approaches. Good-to-Have Skills: - In-depth understanding of Transfer Agency processes and compliance. - Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter. - Knowledge of AML/KYC compliance in the Transfer Agency domain. Competencies: - Fluency in English. - Excellent communication skills for discussing technical and commercial solutions with internal and external parties. - Attention to detail in authoring high-quality documentation. - Organized approach to managing and adapting priorities according to client and internal requirements. - Self-starter with a team mindset, able to work autonomously and as part of a global team. - Willingness to work in a flexible schedule and ready to work in shifts. - Ability to perform under pressure.
