Job Description

As a member of the Zimmer Biomet team, you will play a crucial role in achieving revenue, sales, and profit targets in your designated area. You can expect a supportive work environment that values development opportunities, employee resource groups, flexibility, competitive rewards, wellness incentives, and a culture of recognition. **Principal Duties & Responsibilities:** - Supervise the activities of the DMs and PS to achieve sales targets in the area. - Identify growth opportunities and launch new/existing products. - Establish and coordinate sales and marketing programs within the area. - Prepare reports on marketing activities, product launches, and strategies. - Monitor sales methods, customer strategies, and key account management. - Ensure compliance with relevant Acts, legal demands, and ethical standards. **How You'll Create Impact:** Demonstrate behavior aligned with Zimmers Values: - Prioritize customer needs - Operate with integrity and respect - Continuously improve work processes - Hold yourself accountable for results - Communicate effectively and collaborate with others - Show awareness of the impact of your actions on others **Expected Areas of Competence:** - Enterprising, diplomatic, and proactive problem-solving skills - Result orientation and positive attitude - Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills - Ability to plan, organize workload, and meet deadlines - Excellent presentation skills and ability to negotiate effectively **Your Background:** The successful candidate should have: - Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related discipline. - Previous experience in medical device sales, preferably in Orthopaedics or related fields. - Demonstrated sales abilities and a track record of successful selling to the medical profession. - Previous people management experience is preferred. **Travel Expectations:** Approximately 50% of the time.
