REST API Automation Professional

Role Overview: You will be responsible for Java and API automation testing using REST Assured, Selenium, and BDD cucumber. Your main focus will be on implementing and executing automation scenarios, creating test scripts, and ensuring the quality of the software through rigorous testing procedures. Key Responsibilities: - At least 4 years of hands-on REST API automation experience is a must-have primary skill. - Strong experience in Selenium Java and creating frameworks from scratch. - Proficient in API automation using Rest Assured and BDD frameworks with Cucumber for implementing and executing automation scenarios. - Proficient knowledge in at least one programming language, with Java being preferred. - Good experience in tools like Postman/Insomnia for API testing. - Familiarity with DevOps CI/CD tools like Jenkins and configuration management tools. - Experience with version control systems such as GitHub. - Strong experience in API testing, handling JSON, XML, and exposure to databases. - Proficient in test management, defects tracking, and automation tools. - Preparation of automated test data, test suite, and test bed. - Creation of test plans, test cases, and test scripts. - Bug detection, classification based on severity, priority, and logging in defect tracking tools. - Knowledge of designing test cases for verifying and validating REST APIs. - Participation in Scrum and agile estimation considering product and process requirements. - Good to have skills in performance testing tools like Apache JMeter, Gatling, and Load Runner. - Strong problem-solving, analytical, decision-making abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Self-driven, motivated, and capable of working in a fast-paced agile environment with diverse responsibilities. - Innovative, talented, and committed individual with a spirit of teamwork and analytical abilities to drive excellence. - Deep interest and passion for technology. - Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of stakeholders.
