Principal Engineer - IT Quality & Assurance Testing

You will be a QA Lead Engineer at Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) in Pune/Mumbai. Your role is vital in driving quality assurance efforts within the application development team. Here are your key responsibilities: - Establish and execute a comprehensive quality assurance strategy aligned with the organization's objectives and product roadmap. - Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA Testers, fostering a culture of quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement. - Oversee the creation and execution of detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure thorough testing of applications. - Collaborate closely with development, product management, and stakeholders to integrate quality assurance practices throughout the software development lifecycle. - Establish and maintain processes for defect tracking, management, and resolution. - Evaluate and implement appropriate testing tools and technologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA process. - Drive the adoption and integration of AI-powered testing tools and techniques. - Develop and maintain automated test suites using modern frameworks and tools. - Document QA processes, methodologies, and best practices to ensure consistency across the team. - Analyze testing processes and methodologies, gather feedback, and implement improvements to enhance team productivity and product quality. - Identify training needs and provide opportunities for professional development to the QA team. - Proactively identify potential quality risks early in the development process and collaborate with teams to mitigate those risks. Qualifications required: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, related degree, or relevant experience. - 3-6 years of product and/or business analyst experience. - Proficiency in automation testing methodologies. - Expertise in testing and automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Bruno, Postman, and Selenium. - Implement CI/CD pipelines with automated testing. - Skilled in programming languages such as C#, JAVA, Python, Typescript, and JavaScript. Good to have skills: - Experience with data analysis and optimization tools. - Experience with database management tools. - Knowledge of monitoring and analytics platforms. - Experience with AI-driven testing tools or platforms.
