Urgent Hiring Leading Casting / Foundry Manufacturing Company
Location: Rajkot, Gujarat
Hiring: Trainee Engineer Planning
Work Timings: 01:00 PM to 11:00 PM
Weekly Off: Saturday & Sunday
Salary: Up to 30,000 per month
Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Trainee Engineer Planning to support inventory planning, forecasting, vendor coordination, and supply chain operations. The role focuses on maintaining optimal inventory levels and ensuring smooth material flow across Regional Distribution Centers (RDCs).
Key Responsibilities
Manage and control inventory using material management principles.
Maintain forecasting and inventory control policies.
Ensure optimum inventory levels at RDCs.
Conduct requirement analysis and distribute purchase orders to vendors.
Monitor shipments and ensure timely delivery (Domestic & International).
Maintain accurate transaction data (IT, ETA, etc.).
Coordinate with overseas teams for proper execution and communication.
Optimize freight costs and manage inventory transfers.
Identify process improvements within planning operations.
Perform additional responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.
Desired Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
Understanding of inventory & supply chain processes
Effective time management and prioritization skills
Strong verbal & written communication
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel preferred)
ERP knowledge is an added advantage
Team-oriented and self-driven mindset
Eligibility
01 year experience in Inventory / Supply Chain (Preferred but not mandatory)
Willingness to travel if required
