Performance Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer at Wells Fargo, your role will involve leading moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments. You will contribute to large scale planning of strategies, design, code, test, debug, and document projects and programs associated with the technology domain. Your responsibilities will include reviewing technical challenges, resolving issues, collaborating with peers and colleagues, and leading projects as an escalation point while providing guidance to less experienced staff. Key Responsibilities: - Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments - Contribute to large scale planning of strategies - Design, code, test, debug, and document projects and programs associated with technology domain - Resolve technical challenges and lead a team to meet client needs - Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges - Act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff Qualifications Required: - 4+ years of Software Engineering experience - Equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education In this role, you are expected to have Performance Engineering Expertise with skills in LoadRunner, including HTTP/HTML, Web Services, and Java Vuser. You should have advanced scripting abilities such as correlation, parameterization, think-time modeling, error handling, custom logic, and data-driven frameworks. A deep understanding of Java and .NET performance tuning, microservices patterns, REST APIs, asynchronous workflows, and Kafka streaming semantics is essential. You will design and execute various types of performance tests and influence system design for performance. Additionally, hands-on experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift for performance testing microservices and analyzing pod-level CPU/memory, HPA responsiveness, and autoscaling dynamics is required.
