Job Description
As the largest insurance brokerage firm, we are seeking a candidate with more than 10 years of experience in accounting to join our team.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Reconciling and reviewing Insurer Accounts, Claims, and Bureau Accounts as per policy.
- Performing month end activities e.g. meeting the targets and SLAs.
- Reviewing and investigating reconciliation variances.
- Managing and clearing of Open items, including timely communication to stakeholders of aged open items.
- Preparing/Approving Reporting in line with onshore requirements.
- Conducting regular calibration and refresher sessions.
- Upskilling team process knowledge and resolving process related queries.
- Ensuring financial integrity and timely monthly and year-end close processes.
- Partnering with stakeholders across Divisional Financial Operations to improve financial and accounting accuracy.
- Providing support for internal and external audits including control walkthroughs, documentation support, and inquiry response.
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously and coordinating cross-functionally to meet strict project execution deadlines.
- Driving on-time, accurate & quality service delivery within agreed upon SLAs for assigned processes.
**Qualifications Required:**
- Good working knowledge of accounting standards, account reconciliations, and month-end close experience.
- Knowledge of the insurance brokerage business (Mandatory).
- Experience in Accounts/Audit/Preparation and Consolidation of Financial Statements.
- Proficient in computer skills, financial data analysis, internal consulting, and customer-focused communication and presentation skills.
