Licensed Electrician/ Electrician

As an Electrician with a valid B License, your role will involve managing all electrical maintenance activities in a leather export manufacturing unit. Your responsibilities will include: - **Electrical Maintenance & Operations** - Carry out daily maintenance of factory machinery, lighting, power distribution panels, and office electrical systems. - Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns to minimize production downtime. - Conduct routine preventive maintenance of motors, starters, MCBs, MCCBs, capacitor banks, and wiring systems. - Monitor and maintain factory HT/LT panel, transformer, and DG set operations. - **Machinery & Equipment Support** - Manage electrical maintenance of various machinery including sewing machines, clicking press, embossing machines, skiving machines, compressors, and conveyor systems. - Coordinate with machine vendors and AMC service engineers during major breakdowns or servicing. - Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment. - **Safety & Compliance** - Ensure all electrical work is carried out following IS standards and factory safety norms. - Maintain Electrical Maintenance Log, breakdown records, and preventive maintenance checklist. - Support statutory inspections like Electrical Inspector visits, license renewals, and documentation. - Ensure proper earthing, insulation testing, and safe isolation procedures. - Maintain electrical panels, control rooms, and cable trays clean and organized as per 5S standards. - Report and rectify any electrical hazard, loose connection, or unsafe condition immediately. **ELIGIBILITY** - **License** - Valid Electrician B License (mandatory) - **Experience** - Minimum 5 years in factory/industrial electrical maintenance - **Education** - ITI Electrician trade (minimum); Diploma in Electrical Engineering preferred **SALARY** Salary offered will be commensurate with your experience and skill level, with a competitive offer for the right candidate. **PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES** - Hands-on experience with HT/LT systems, DG sets, and power factor correction. - Knowledge of TNEB regulations and compliance requirements. - Ability to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams. - Physically fit; willing to work in a factory environment across shifts if required. - Responsible, self-driven, and able to work with minimal supervision. As an immediate joiner, you will be eligible for a monthly salary ranging from 25,000.00 to 29,971.45 along with benefits including cell phone reimbursement, provided food, health insurance, paid sick time, paid time off, and Provident Fund.
