Job Description
As a Senior Data Scientist in the healthcare sector, your role will involve the following responsibilities:
Role Overview:
You will be part of the Data Science & Analytics Team, focusing on developing advanced ML-driven healthcare solutions for the US and global markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop high-performing predictive healthcare models using ML & AI
- Apply statistical modeling techniques such as GLM, Decision Trees, Boosting, SVM, Regression, Clustering
- Perform model training, hyperparameter tuning, and evaluation
- Collaborate with product teams to define data sources, algorithms, and KPIs
- Deploy ML models into production environments
- Build ETL pipelines, data transformation, and scalable modeling workflows
- Monitor model performance, optimize continuously, and ensure HIPAA compliance
- Upgrade and maintain existing healthcare data products
Qualifications Required:
- 3+ years experience in the Healthcare domain with exposure to healthcare data
- 57 years of experience building and deploying ML models in production
- Proficiency in ML algorithms, statistical modeling, Python, R, Scala, Spark/PySpark, H2O
- Experience in AWS, Google AI/ML Platform, Snowflake, Databricks
- Hands-on experience with ETL, data pipelines, and big data environments
- Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Bachelors Degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience
