Job Description
As a Technical Specialist, you will play a crucial role in defining and delivering high-performing CMS solutions for exciting digital experiences. You will need to blend deep CMS development expertise with architectural thinking to design scalable solutions, guide teams, and ensure technical excellence throughout all project stages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and implement CMS architectures focusing on scalability, performance, and security standards.
- Collaborate with Sales and Delivery teams to provide technical effort estimates, solution approaches, and feasibility assessments for new projects.
- Translate business and functional requirements into technical designs and implementation plans.
- Lead API-based integrations (REST, GraphQL) and headless CMS solutions.
- Review and guide development work to maintain code quality, consistency, and maintainability.
- Work closely with UI/UX, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Mentor developers, offering technical guidance and support in CMS best practices.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency optimization within the CMS team.
- Balance multiple assignments effectively while focusing on quality and deadlines.
- Demonstrate strong organizational discipline by adhering to defined processes, documentation, and review practices.
- Maintain proactive communication, collaborating synchronously and asynchronously across teams.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in CMS development, with hands-on exposure to front-end and back-end technologies.
- Expert-level skills in WordPress (themes, plugins, multisite) and Shopify; familiarity with Craft CMS or other enterprise CMS platforms is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), ReactJS / Vue.js, and responsive web design principles.
- Experience with headless CMS, API-driven integrations, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with web accessibility standards (WCAG, ARIA), security best practices, and performance optimization.
