IT & Cyber Security Engineer

In this role, you will work with the team to focus on continually improving HVDCs cybersecurity posture and offerings, and advancing the implementation of the cybersecurity strategy. You will support multiple projects simultaneously and collaborate with the cybersecurity team to streamline cybersecurity solutions. Additionally, you will assist in the implementation of cybersecurity tools, run them, and analyze the results. Your involvement will also contribute to the development of the HVDC Cybersecurity team. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop a secured network architecture for DCS / SCADA / HMI systems with advanced cybersecurity features. - Evaluate and strengthen the security of any connections to the DCS / SCADA / HMI network. - Establish strong controls over any medium used as a backdoor into the DCS / SCADA / HMI network. - Implement internal and external intrusion detection systems in the DCS / SCADA / HMI network. - Perform technical audits of DCS / SCADA / HMI devices and networks, as well as any other connected networks, to identify security concerns. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors / Masters in ECE / CSE / IT / EI or equivalent. - Candidates should have 8 years of working experience in the IT-, OT, or information security field, preferably from the industry sector. - Proficiency and fluency in English are required as you will be part of an international setting.
