Job Description
Role Overview:
As the Delivery Head for Telecom Core Networks, your primary responsibility will be to lead the end-to-end delivery of cloud-based Core telecom solutions and services for global clients. You will play a crucial role in ensuring operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and profitability while driving innovation and transformation in alignment with the organizational strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee large-scale telecom programs and projects across multiple geographies, managing a team of approximately 2,000+ employees.
- Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of OEM products and services to end customers, including some of the world's largest Communication Service Providers (CSPs).
- Utilize your position to increase sales pipeline for the organization in the telecom sector.
- Continuously enhance delivery strategy to align with business objectives.
- Establish governance frameworks, define KPIs, and implement effective reporting mechanisms.
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal leadership.
- Manage escalations efficiently and maintain proactive communication channels.
- Drive transformation, optimize resources, control costs, and introduce process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Implement risk management strategies and ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams to foster a high-performance culture.
- Develop talent pipelines and succession plans for sustained growth.
- Take ownership of the Profit & Loss (P&L) for delivery operations to ensure profitability and expansion.
- Monitor budgets closely and introduce cost-saving initiatives where possible.
- Champion digital transformation initiatives by leveraging AI, automation, and analytics.
- Promote continuous improvement and customer-centric delivery models.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering/Science or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
- Minimum of 20 years of experience in telecom delivery, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Certifications in PMP, ITIL, or Agile methodologies would be advantageous.
Additional Company Details:
The ideal candidate will have experience working with global telecom Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and participating in large-scale transformation programs. Exposure to digital technologies such as AI, automation, and cloud in the telecom delivery domain will be considered a plus. Role Overview:
