Job Description
As a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at our organization, your primary responsibility will be to lead and manage the financial strategy. You will oversee various key aspects such as Fund raising, Mergers & Acquisitions, Planning, Taxation, Budgeting, Forecasting, and Financial reporting processes. It is essential to ensure compliance with internal controls to maintain the financial health of the organization. Your collaboration with senior leadership will be crucial in driving business growth and profitability. You will be expected to provide strategic recommendations based on financial analysis and projections and manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors and financial institutions. Monitoring and optimizing cash flow and working capital management will also be part of your role. Additionally, leading and developing the finance team to ensure high performance will be a key aspect of your responsibilities.
Qualifications for the Successful Applicant:
- Chartered Accountant qualification is mandatory
- 15+ years of Post qualification experience
- Proven expertise in financial planning, analysis, and management
- Experience in the business services sector, preferably within the retail industry
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- A strategic mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements
