Associate Director, Execution Consulting Group

As a member of the Execution Consulting Team at CSI, your role will involve providing execution consultancy services to equity sales traders and clients across different regions and channels such as Electronic Trading, Portfolio Trading, and High Touch. You will be expected to work closely with the Algo Strategists Group's quants and developers to enhance your knowledge of quantitative algorithmic trading. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing and maintaining the team's data sourcing, validation, and pipelining infrastructure - Creating and managing analytics calculators, automated reporting tools, and dashboard tools - Conducting Transaction Cost Analysis for client trading flow and offering optimization suggestions - Producing thought leadership content on market microstructure, regulatory trends, and index events - Responding to data and analysis requests from internal and external clients - Evaluating the overall platform performance Qualifications required for this role include: - Education: Master's degree in mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or another quantitative subject discipline - Experience: Minimum four years of relevant experience with hands-on quantitative tools and data analysis skills, preferably in financial markets - Technical Skills: Strong programming skills in Python, basic knowledge of SQL, and coding ability in q/kdb+ - Financial Knowledge: Working knowledge of finance and equity trading principles - Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to work independently - Communication: Excellent command of both spoken and written English Additionally, CITIC CLSA, the parent company of CSI, provides global investors and corporate executives with insights, liquidity, and capital to drive growth strategies.
