Job Description
Role Overview:
At Amplifon, you will have the opportunity to assist the finance team and ground teams in their day-to-day working requirements. You will be responsible for interacting with both the Local and Corporate office, finding improvements in existing processes, and coordinating with other functions in the company for data collection, improvement in controls, processes, integration, and implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct monthly scrutiny of Trial Balance
- Perform monthly closing of books of accounts to prepare Profit and Loss accounts and Balance sheet
- Manage the monthly closing process, including various account reconciliations and analysis
- Prepare and distribute internal financial statements and reports with high quality, reliability, and accuracy
- Coordinate daily with various functions and field teams to resolve transactions and address any queries
- Supervise the finance team as direct reporting
- Handle Inventory Management and reconciliation
- Coordinate with the Corporate team on Controls and Audits
- Develop and maintain the integrity of the financial reporting process and financial controls
- Update written policies and procedures over the financial reporting process
- Strengthen internal controls related to financial reporting
- Work with Statutory auditors to address queries up to the finalization of the balance sheet
Qualification Required:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant. MBA Finance may also be considered
- Minimum 7-8 years of work experience in the Retail industry, preferably in the medical line
- Working experience with accounting software such as ZOHO or Tally.ERP9 is preferred
Skillset Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of Accounting standards and Tax Laws (Direct and Indirect - GST)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially MS Excel & Powerpoint
- Ability to adapt to changes and work effectively under pressure with minimum supervision
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude
- Experience in dealing with management and external authorities
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
- Sense of personal responsibility
