5G System Engineer (Senior Engineer)

Your responsibilities will include: - Characterizing and optimizing 5G, 5G-Advanced, and LTE systems performance - Providing debugging support, demos, and over the air (OTA) field trials of new features - Resolving inter-operability issues with network equipment providers - Evaluating system performance in terms of coverage, capacity, and mobility on the OTA network - Designing, optimizing, and managing capacity of air-interface and core-network - Recommending system parameters and participating in new technology inter-operability tests and field trials - Conducting lab performance studies and authoring white papers and documents on new wireless technologies and standards - Utilizing machine learning for data extraction from logs/data - Providing onsite support to mobile operators worldwide for 5G, 5G-Advanced, and LTE network rollouts and enhancements You should possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 2+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, or a Master's degree with 1+ year of experience, or a PhD in a relevant field. In addition to the qualifications, you should have expertise in: - Interacting with wireless Operators to analyze 5G/5G-Adv/LTE network performance - Contributing to projects on advanced topics like ORAN/vRAN, private networks, fixed wireless access, and small cells - RF and OTA Parametric Optimization and troubleshooting - RF Network Planning including propagation model calibration, network planning tool configuration, and coverage planning - Utilizing simulation platforms for network performance improvement - Developing technical documents and presentations - Implementing data analytics and machine learning techniques for service portfolio enhancement Moreover, you should have knowledge in cellular PHY/MAC layers, 5G and LTE networks performance assessment, digital communications, mobile communications, computer networks, and machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and Keras.
