Job Description
As a Workday Test Analyst specializing in Payroll & Benefits, your main role will involve supporting regional Test Leads in a large-scale global Workday transformation program. You will be highly focused on execution, carrying out various testing activities across Payroll & Benefits within Workday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute end-to-end testing activities in Workday for Payroll & Benefits, including SIT, UAT, and regression testing.
- Perform Workday transactions for testing scenarios such as Hire, Termination, Compensation Changes, Benefits Enrollment, and Absence.
- Utilize EIBs to create, load, and validate data for both inbound and outbound integrations.
- Validate Payroll processes including gross-to-net calculations, earnings, deductions, tax validations, reconciliation, and output validation.
- Validate Benefits configurations covering eligibility rules, enrollment processing, payroll deductions, and downstream impacts.
- Conduct data validation and reconciliation between Workday and other systems like payroll vendors and benefits providers.
- Support integration testing involving Core Connectors, EIB, PECI, and inbound/outbound interfaces.
- Manage defects using tools like JIRA or ALM, and collaborate with functional teams and stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure data accuracy.
- Maintain and prepare test data, scenarios, and execution results for testing cycles.
Required Qualifications:
- 37+ years of hands-on Workday experience, particularly in Payroll and/or Benefits.
- Proficiency in executing Workday transactions directly within the system.
- Experience working with EIBs including creating templates, loading data, and validating outputs.
- Experience in supporting Payroll and Benefits testing cycles, including reconciliation and integration impacts.
- Strong data handling and validation skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and reconcile data.
- Familiarity with integration testing tools like Core Connectors, EIB, PECI, etc.
