Role Overview:
You are a skilled and highly proficient individual in user-centred strategy and insight-driven design. You are an empathetic champion of the user with a curiosity for their motivations and needs, fluent in the end-to-end customer journey. You have the ability to synthesize and translate abstract concepts into innovative solutions that lead to strong product and service experiences. Your expertise lies in zooming in and out at the intersection of data, technology, place, service, and creativity. As a restless futurist, you are inspired by brand and business innovation as well as emerging technologies, while remaining focused on solving the needs of brands today.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work directly with clients to define the right opportunities and problems to solve at the beginning of assignments.
- Present directly to clients to build relationships and ensure their goals align with proposed strategies.
- Provide insights to help devise world-class strategies and develop deliverables like research plans, experience briefs, customer journeys, roadmaps, and workshops.
- Offer strategic inputs throughout the product creation process, from vision to launch and optimization.
- Challenge clients and peers to consider opportunities that address business challenges and meet brand and customer needs.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary group to develop engaging solutions for clients in the lifestyle sector.
Qualifications Required:
- 5+ years of experience in human-centred design, service design, and/or experience strategies, preferably for clients in the lifestyle sector.
- Experience in creating strategies such as customer journeys, archetypes, experience briefs, and workshops that span digital and physical worlds.
- Proficiency in executing research initiatives and designing engaging workshops.
- Ability to develop compelling communications for clients and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and comfortable with ambiguity.
- Experience with presentations, proposal development, and design critique feedback.
- Familiarity with design research methodologies and processes.
