Job Description
As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer with expertise in automation testing and experience in Content Management Systems (CMS) like Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Sitecore Drupal WordPress or similar platforms, your role will involve:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks for CMS-driven web applications.
- Collaborating with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality releases.
- Defining and executing test plans, test cases, and regression suites (both manual and automated).
- Conducting functional, integration, performance, and end-to-end testing for CMS components and workflows.
- Validating CMS templates, components, and authoring interfaces against business and UX requirements.
- Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
- Troubleshooting and analyzing issues found in testing, logging defects, and verifying fixes.
- Mentoring junior QA engineers and promoting test automation best practices.
- Continuously enhancing automation coverage and improving testing efficiency.
Qualifications required for this role include:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 years of QA experience, with at least 2 years in test automation.
- Hands-on experience with CMS platforms like Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Sitecore, Drupal, or WordPress.
- Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Cypress, TestNG, or similar.
- Strong scripting/coding skills in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python.
- Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Karate.
- Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent debugging, analytical, and communication skills.
In addition, preferred qualifications for this role may include experience with CMS automation using Sling APIs, CRX, or Granite UI automation, exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), experience with performance testing (e.g. JMeter, LoadRunner), familiarity with Accessibility and SEO testing for CMS-based websites, and knowledge of version control (Git) and test management tools (JIRA, Zephyr, Xray).
