Job Description
As a Senior Finance & Accounting Leader in the manufacturing sector, you will play a crucial role in overseeing financial governance, reporting, and managing large-scale teams. Your expertise in GAAP, IFRS, and hands-on experience with ERP systems will be essential in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Record to Report (RTR) function, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely financial reporting.
- Establish and maintain a strong internal control framework, ensuring adherence to internal policies and SOX requirements.
- Drive financial close activities (monthly, quarterly, annual) while meeting key KPIs and reporting deadlines.
- Lead ERP implementation or system upgrade initiatives, ensuring seamless deployment, stakeholder alignment, and effective user training.
- Manage engagement planning, monitor engagement economics, mitigate risks, and ensure projects are delivered within defined timelines.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and lead transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Mentor large cross-functional teams, fostering high performance and accountability.
Qualifications Required:
- Chartered Accountant (CPA equivalent) or Masters degree in Accounting / Finance / Business
- 22+ years of progressive experience in Finance & Accounting, with experience managing large teams in the manufacturing industry
- Strong expertise in GAAP and IFRS, hands-on experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, JDE, HFM, OneStream), proficiency in Power BI and financial reporting tools, and end-to-end ownership of RTR process
- Experience in SOX compliance, internal controls management, ERP implementation / upgrade leadership, and month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close management
In addition, you will need to demonstrate advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities, strong project management skills, excellent English communication skills, and proven leadership in large, complex manufacturing environments.
