Vice President - Data & AI Analytics

Role Overview: As an early member of the Analytics team, you will collaborate directly with the CPTO and Founders to develop the most user-friendly intelligence layer for electronics sourcing. Your primary responsibility will be to convert extensive data sets into valuable insights for global OEMs and enterprises. Key Responsibilities: - Design AI-First Dashboards: Create innovative dashboards using AI technology to proactively identify supply chain irregularities and pricing opportunities. - Develop the Intelligence Engine: Construct and enhance machine learning models for price forecasting, risk assessment, and similarity search for electronic components. - Conduct Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA): Explore global electronics trade data to uncover hidden trends that can give us a competitive advantage. - Visual Storytelling: Utilize advanced tools to produce visually appealing sourcing visualizations that simplify complex BOM analytics. Qualifications Required: - Foundation: Possess at least 3 years of experience in a rapidly growing B2B SaaS or AI startup. Proficiency in SQL and Python/R is essential. - AI/ML Knowledge: Solid grasp of supervised/unsupervised learning, clustering, and regression. Familiarity with LLM-based data extraction or Vector Databases is advantageous. - Visualization Skills: Mastery of Tableau, Power BI, or Looker, with the ability to create custom visuals using D3.js, Plotly, or Streamlit. - Mindset: Take initiative in identifying data challenges, formulating hypotheses, and prototyping solutions without waiting for instructions.
