Tresata DevOps Manager

As a Tresata DevOps Manager (TDM), you will be responsible for leading and managing the DevOps team, driving the adoption of DevOps best practices, and implementing automation strategies to streamline the delivery process. You will collaborate closely with development, operations, and other cross-functional teams to ensure the continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of high-quality technology solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage a team of DevOps specialists. - Design, deploy, and manage the AWS / Azure infrastructure components required for the product development environment, including virtual networks, storage accounts, virtual machines, and other resources. - Set up and maintain Kubernetes clusters for deploying and scaling applications. Implement best practices for containerization, orchestration, and service discovery. Experience with auditing and logging with Kubernetes is preferred. - Develop and maintain Terraform scripts for provisioning and configuring infrastructure resources. Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles to define and manage infrastructure configurations. - Implement monitoring and logging solutions to proactively identify and address performance issues and system failures. Set up alerts and notifications for timely incident response. Monitor resource consumption and suggest optimization paths. - Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Perform security assessments, vulnerability scanning, and implement security controls. - Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications. Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting guides. Lead a small team of experts. - Continuously monitor system performance, identify areas for optimization, and work with development teams to improve efficiency and scalability. - Stay informed about product updates and changes to address user inquiries. - Establish and enforce quality assurance measures for client onboarding. - Provide ad hoc general client support responsibilities. Qualifications Required: - Masters Degree in Information Management or relevant field. - 10+ years of experience in technical support, with SaaS/Tech industry experience preferred. - Azure/AWS certifications such as DevOps Engineer Expert, Solutions Architect Expert, or related certifications. - Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and hybrid cloud environments. - Familiarity with scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Ruby, Go). - Experience with Docker and containerization technologies.
