Transport Modeller

As a Transport Planner at SYSTRA India, you will be part of a dynamic team that is growing to meet the global transport modelling demand. Your role will primarily involve working on micro-simulation models and pedestrian models, analyzing model results, and preparing technical reports. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a highly motivated and inspirational environment. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and calibrate/validation of micro-simulation models - Develop pedestrian models - Undertake analysis of model results - Learn new techniques and software packages - Prepare technical reports Qualifications Required: - Master's degree level qualification or above in relevant subject (e.g., Transport Planning/Engineering or Civil Engineering) - 5-10 years of relevant experience in the field - Experience in Micro-Simulation Software (e.g. VISSIM, VISWALK, PARAMICS, AIMSUN) - Familiarity with TfL and UK modeling guidelines - Data analysis skills and problem-solving abilities - Proficiency in Python, R, Visual Basic for Applications, or similar tools - Knowledgeable user of data analytics and mapping tools (GIS) - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - Experience in mentoring junior colleagues Additional Details: SYSTRA India is committed to improving transportation and urban infrastructure efficiency, making it an exciting time to be part of this challenging adventure.
