Job Description
As the Training Head for the retail asset vertical, your role involves creating and executing the overall training strategy in alignment with Board and management directives. The Retail Assets Division, which includes Agri, Micro Finance, Retail Loans, and Vehicle finance verticals and represents 70% of the bank's workforce, requires your expertise to drive training initiatives effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a national team of Regional Training Managers and Zonal Training Manager to implement the training strategy across the organization.
- Forecast and present training budgets for the year, ensuring efficient utilization of resources.
- Conduct training need identification/analysis for various business units and devise training solutions that align with the strategic training plan.
- Collaborate with HR and business leaders to establish a competency framework for the asset division.
- Focus on developing competencies and leadership programs to nurture the next generation of leaders and managers in line with HR and business objectives.
- Design and develop training content internally and in collaboration with external training institutions to address specific business needs.
- Provide regular training updates to the Bank's Management Committee and other relevant stakeholders.
- Develop training matrices to evaluate the return on investment (ROI) of training initiatives.
- Partner with HR and business teams to implement key HR initiatives and establish a Knowledge Sharing Forum within the organization.
- Deliver training sessions on skill development, behavioral aspects, and leadership topics according to the training and competency development roadmap.
- Mentor and collaborate with team members to ensure smooth implementation of training programs as per the planned calendar.
Qualifications Required:
- Proven experience in developing and implementing training strategies at a national level.
- Strong analytical skills to identify training needs and align them with business objectives.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including HR and business units.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Prior experience in designing training content and evaluating training effectiveness is preferred.
