Trainee/ Jr. Tester- Manual Testing

Job Description: You are being hired as a Trainee/Junior Software Tester (Manual Testing) to kickstart your career in software quality assurance. Your enthusiasm to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment along with a basic understanding of software testing concepts will be your key strengths. Key Responsibilities: - Understand project requirements, functional specifications, and test scenarios - Execute manual test cases for web and/or desktop applications - Identify, log, and track defects using defect management tools - Perform functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing - Validate bug fixes and retest resolved defects - Prepare and maintain basic test documentation (test cases, test data, test reports) - Collaborate with developers and senior QA team members - Follow QA processes, standards, and best practices - Participate in training sessions and continuous learning activities Qualifications Required: - Basic understanding of Software Testing concepts and SDLC/STLC - Knowledge of manual testing fundamentals - Ability to write straightforward test cases and test scenarios - Basic understanding of bug life cycle - Familiarity with functional and regression testing - Good analytical and problem-solving skills - Strong attention to detail - Good verbal and written communication skills Additional Details: Candidates from Delhi/NCR with B.E/B.Tech/MCA qualifications from the 2024/25 batch having scored 60% and above throughout all academics are eligible. You must have completed a minimum of 6 months of software testing training from a reputed institute. A service agreement is mandatory for application. Candidates with a maximum of 1 year gap in academics/employment or below 23 years of age can apply. Note: Basic knowledge of SQL, exposure to test management tools, understanding of web technologies, knowledge of API or backend testing concepts, awareness of Agile/Scrum methodology, or any certification in Software Testing / QA will be considered as additional advantages.
